Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a contract between you and CALCO CARD LLC (“CalCo Card,” “we,” “us”), 5420 Beckley Rd. STE A # 352, Battle Creek, MI 49015, (269) 446-1123.
By using calcocard.com, creating a Free or Member account, redeeming a deal, entering a giveaway, or using business tools, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
CalCo Card is a local deals membership for Calhoun County, Michigan (Battle Creek, Marshall, Albion, Springfield, Emmett, and nearby towns). We list offers from independent partner businesses.
- Free users may browse deals and redeem a limited number of Deals of the Week (currently up to 3 per week, as shown on the site).
- Members pay a recurring fee ($4.99/month or $39.99/year, or the price shown at checkout) and unlock member deals, a digital membership card / QR code, savings tools, referrals, and giveaway entry as described on the site and in the Official Rules.
- Partner businesses pay separately under Partner Terms.
We do not sell the underlying goods or services. The partner business is the merchant of record for the discounted purchase.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a contract under Michigan law. One personal account per person. Business accounts are for the named business only. We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that look fraudulent, abusive, or shared.
3. Accounts and security
You must give accurate name, email, phone, and city information. You are responsible for your login, membership code, and QR. Tell us promptly at support@calcocard.com if you think your account was misused.
4. Membership billing and cancellation
Paid memberships are subscriptions billed by our payment processor (currently Stripe) to the card you provide.
- Monthly plans renew each month until canceled.
- Annual plans renew each year until canceled.
- You may cancel anytime in your Account, or by emailing support@calcocard.com or calling (269) 446-1123.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. You keep Member access through the end of the period already paid.
- Price changes will be posted and, for existing Members, disclosed before the next charge when required by law.
Refunds. Except where Michigan or federal law requires otherwise, membership fees are non-refundable once the period has started. We may issue a goodwill credit or refund at our discretion (for example, duplicate charges or obvious billing errors). Chargebacks filed without first contacting Support may result in account closure. See also Refunds and cancellation.
5. Deals and redemptions
Partner businesses create and honor their own offers. CalCo Card provides listing, discovery, and verification tools only.
- An offer is valid only at the named business, during the posted window, subject to the posted limits (one per visit, dine-in only, etc.).
- Free users may redeem only Deals of the Week up to the weekly cap.
- Members must show a valid digital card, QR, or code when asked.
- The business applies the discount at the register. We are not responsible if a business is closed, out of product, understaffed, or refuses an offer that was posted in error.
- If a deal fails, try the business first. Then contact Support with the business name, date, and screenshot. We may pause a deal or credit a redemption; we do not guarantee a cash refund of the underlying purchase.
We may limit, pause, or remove deals or accounts that we reasonably believe are being abused (including stacking, fake accounts, screenshot sharing, or harassment of staff).
6. Giveaways
Member giveaways are promotions of chance governed by the separate Giveaway Official Rules. If those rules conflict with marketing copy, the Official Rules control.
7. Texts and email
Service messages (receipts, security, redemption confirmations) may be sent to the email or number on your account.
Marketing texts require separate consent. See the Privacy Policy and the SMS disclosure at signup. Consent to marketing texts is not a condition of buying a membership. Reply STOP to opt out of texts; HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
8. Acceptable use
You may not: scrape the site; create fake or duplicate accounts; sell, share, or screenshot membership credentials for others; interfere with partner verification; post unlawful or infringing content; or use the service outside Calhoun County in a way that misrepresents where you are.
9. Intellectual property
CalCo Card name, logo, site design, and content are owned by CALCO CARD LLC. Partner logos and deal content remain the partner’s, licensed to us to operate the service. You may not copy the catalog for a competing product.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a minimum number of live deals, any particular savings amount (including “$400–$550 a year,” which is an estimate, not a promise), or that every partner will honor every offer without friction. Maps, hours, and “near me” results depend on data we and partners provide and may be incomplete.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY MICHIGAN LAW, CALCO CARD LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST SAVINGS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE MEMBERSHIP FEES YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) $50. SOME RIGHTS CANNOT BE WAIVED; this section does not limit those.
12. Indemnity
You will defend and hold CALCO CARD LLC harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Partners
If you use business tools or buy a partner plan, the Partner Terms also apply and control if they conflict with these Terms on merchant issues.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Effective” date will change. Continued use after the new date is acceptance. Material changes to paid plans will be noticed by email when required.
15. Governing law
Michigan law governs, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Exclusive venue is the state or federal courts sitting in Calhoun County or the Western District of Michigan, unless a mandatory consumer venue rule says otherwise. Before filing, email support@calcocard.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.
